Glorious beaches and harbours on the North Norfolk coast boat trips on the Norfolk Broads (Wroxham is only 8 miles) the quaint town of Holt with its interesting shops and seaside Cromer's freshly caught crabs and seasonal end of pier show are all an easy drive. Pub 1½ miles shops in the market town of Aylsham 4 miles.

Accommodation overview: Mill Cottage is a charming holiday cottage which has been sympathetically refurbished and is situated in the bijou village of Bawburgh which nestles in the valley of the River Yare, just 5 miles from the city of Norwich. The cottage is one of a row, has a view of the village green and there is a 17th-century tavern in the village called the Kings Head which is well worth a visit. On the north side of the village is an 18 hole golf course. Mill Cottage is ideally located for exploring Norfolk and all it has to offer, whether it is the unspoilt Norfolk Coast with its picturesque fishing villages or the Norfolk Broads. Alternatively spend time visiting the fine city of Norwich with its famous cathedral. Castle, theatre and a shopping experience not to be missed. Shop 1 mile, pub 100 yards.
