Accommodation overview: Lerryn is one of the few remaining unspoilt, and very pretty, inland riverside villages in Cornwall. Watercolour Cottage overlooks a tidal creek off the River Fowey (see photograph). This very attractive holiday cottage provides a comfortable base in a delightful part of Cornwall, only 20 yards from the village inn and shop. Lostwithiel 4 miles and the picturesque town of Fowey is 5 miles via car ferry. The Eden Project 10 miles. The beautiful coast between Polperro and Polruan 10 minutes by car. Plymouth with superb theatre, cinemas and good shops is under one hour. Shop 20 yards. Six easy steps up to patio and entrance. Living/dining room with Baxi open fire. Four steps up to well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room. Bathroom with electric over-bath shower and toilet. First floor: Double bedroom with additional single futon-bed (alternative sleeping only). Lerryn is a friendly, picture-book village with excellent shop/P.O. and a pub just steps away, serving lunches and dinners. The popular coastal fishing villages of Polperro and Looe are within a half hour’s drive.
