This is an unspoilt, beautiful area is full of legends and myths, perfect for walking, birdwatching, painting and cycling. The Long Mynd, Stiper Stones, Shropshire Way and other long distance paths can be explored simply by walking from the front door. Pony trekking and golf are also available locally. Accommodation overview: Delightfully located on a quiet lane overlooking a marina (pictured) on the Shropshire Union Canal this comfortably furnished detached cottage boasts a first floor sitting room and balcony to make the most of countryside views. A pub is just 100 yards and the marina has a café and small licensed shop that also sells fishing tackle. There are excellent towpath and country walks as well as canal boat hire for exploring 17 miles of canal (with 7 pubs to visit!). The Ironbridge Museum Shugborough Hall and Chester Zoo are good day trips.
