Accommodation overview: This very pretty beamed cottage stands detached in a large enclosed garden on the edge of the small hamlet of Staple and is surrounded by countryside. Built nearly 300 years ago, it has been carefully restored by the present owners and retains many original features. The surrounding area is ideal walking territory with a plethora of footpaths including the vineyard trail. This is also good cycling country and two adults bicycles are provided. The Cinque port of Sandwich, with the Royal St George’s golf club is just 5 miles, whilst historic Canterbury is 7 miles away. Howletts 90-acre animal park (home to the UK’s largest group of African elephants) is also close by. Beaches 6 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub 1/2 mile. Living room with wood-burning stove. Dining room with brick floor. Kitchen with flagstone floor. Utility. Bathroom with shower cubicle. Separate toilet.
