NT Sheringham Hall - a few hundred yards away set in parkland - offers lovely walks and superb views. The North Norfolk Steam Railway, home to Thomas the Tank Engine, runs along the coast to Weybourne (3 miles) and historic market town of Holt (6 miles). Cley-next-the-Sea and Salthouse (5 miles) are ideal for bird-watchers; 18 miles from Pensthorpe Nature Reserve featured on Springwatch. Excellent holiday location for walking and cycling; coastal path and network of quiet lanes available. Boat trips from Blakeney Quay. Shops and pub 1 mile.
