Pocklington 4 miles has a range of interesting shops and the Yorkshire Wolds countryside unfolds beyond. Castle Howard Sledmere House and Nunnington Hall (NT) are all within a half hour drive as are Flamingo Land and Eden Camp and a little further is the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway in Pickering.
