Accommodation overview: SITUATED ON THE EDGE OF EXMOOR IN A QUIET HAMLET, SLEEPS 2 + 2 Set in the quiet hamlet of Langley Marsh, this lovely detached, self contained cottage nestles in the grounds of the owners quiet country pub, a 17th century red-stone building offering excellent home-cooked food. The perfect base for walking and touring both Devon and Somerset. You are well placed for visiting beautiful Exmoor, popular with visitors for its walks, wonderful scenery and wildlife. There are numerous attractions close by which include several fishing lakes, Somerwest World at Minehead, West Somerset Steam Railway, Somerset County Cricket ground (12 miles away at Taunton), Oak Manor Golf course (5 miles), fishing at Clatworthy and Wimbleball reservoirs (3 and 7 miles respectively). Travel further afield to Exeter with its museums, leisure facilities, restaurants and high street shops or Tiverton Castle and Canal, various National Trust properties and gardens. The English Riviera and a variety of sandy family beaches are also a short drive away to the North and South. This cosy accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with TV and 1 bunk bedroom. Shower room: with WC. Lounge: with wood burner, TV, video, DVD, Freeview and hi-fi. Kitchen/diner: with cooker, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Outside: small rear garden/patio area with seating, further patio/parking area at front of property with seating. Amenities: off-road parking. Bed linen, electric and electric heating included, however there is a surcharge of Â£20 per week for the heating from 1 October to 30 April which is payable to the owner on arrival. 1 small pet by arrangement. Regret no smoking in the property. Additional info: tennis courts locally, takeaway food and drink service available during pub food serving hours. Â£50 security deposit required for all pets, payable direct to the owner on arrival. Location: beaches to the north and south coasts 15 miles, shops 1 mile, pub on site.
