Situated close to an extensive beach – the only one in Norfolk to face west – Heacham Beach sits on the glorious North Norfolk coast between the seaside resort of Hunstanton and the Georgian market town of King's Lynn. After a day exploring or trying your hand at the sports programme relax in the bar with great entertainment for all the family.

North Norfolk is home to some of the most spectacular wide sandy beaches in the country many of which offer coastal paths and superb opportunities for birdwatching. Hunstanton boasts an excellent aquarium and the Sea Life Sanctuary both a firm favourite with children.

The Heacham Lavender fields seal trips from beautiful Blakeney Point and a visit to Sandringham House offer something for everyone and historic King's Lynn with its many attractions and ancient Gaol House is well worth a visit.

Pet friendly accommodation is available at Breydon Water. A superb centre from which you can enjoy the delights of Broadland within ½ mile the attractions of Great Yarmouth (4 miles) or within easy reach Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park and Somerleyton Hall.

Breydon Water consists of Bure village and Yare village and visitors have use of the facilities at both just a short walk apart down a country lane.

There are opportunities for fishing (opposite the park) boating tennis golf riding cycling and walking all available in the area. Further afield medieval Norwich offers you excellent shopping.

The ideal base for a peaceful and relaxing family holiday the contemporary chalets at Rainbows End are situated in 13 undisturbed acres and have private access onto a splendid sandy beach used almost exclusively by visitors to the park. Nine acres of the park are tranquil grassland and you can also enjoy a childrens adventure playground.

This is a wonderful area for getting away from it all; close by are Bacton Woods ideal for walks and picnics and the many waterways of the Norfolk Broads are within just 6 miles. You can relax on a river trip skipper your own day boat – the perfect way to discover the Broads at your own pace – or visit one of the many bird and animal centres. Bustling Wroxham has something for everyone in the family Sutton Windmill the tallest in Britain is home to a Broads Museum and Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden has miles of lovely walks ancient oaks and superb views to enjoy.

The numerous seaside attractions of Great Yarmouth Cromer and Sheringham and the historic city of Norwich with its two cathedrals cobbled streets magnificent castle and abundance of shops restaurants and nightlife are all easily accessible from the park.
