The house has a lovely history, reputedly once the cart house to the village Vicarage! Today it offers a very high standard of self catering accommodation in a very attractive location, with many attractive villages nearby. Presented beautifully and to a high specification, the cottage has both space and cosiness in abundance. Perhaps of particular appeal is the option to walk to the excellent local pub and enjoy some superb food....! Accommodation overview: Rose Cottage is a very sweet and traditional Cotswold cottage located in one of the region's most attractive villages. The property, which is Seventeenth Century and Grade II listed, has a history that describes it as once belonging to the 'Village Alehouse Keeper'! Today it is has a very welcoming feel with many period features including a large and beautiful inglenook fireplace which is simply gorgeous and oak beams - all very romantic! The cottage is well equipped and also enjoys a very large garden overlooking fields beyond. Even though the property is ideal for two people, there is a second bedroom with a potential two extra beds* which would be suitable for one or two children - there is plenty of seating downstairs.
