Walks can be accessed direct from the door, one taking you on the old pack horse trail towards Hebden Bridge which is a delightful town to explore. The area is perfect for Bronte enthusiasts, with Haworth village just 2 miles away and Top Withens, believed to be Emily Brontes inspiration for the Earnshaw residence in Wuthering Heights, just a short walk from the cottage. Haworth with its quaint cobbled street, abundance of tea rooms. good pubs and quirky shops is worthy of a visit.
