Accommodation overview: This charming detached thatched cottage is peacefully located along an unmade track, and has attractive enclosed gardens with mature shrubs and trees, as well as a play area for children. Hedgerow offers homely and comfortable family holiday accommodation, combining traditional features with modern equipment. As well as the main living room with wonderful open fire, there is an additional family room, and a dining room to seat 10 occupants, ideal for those family get-togethers. The nearest beach is approximately 10 minutes’ walk and footpaths from the edge of the village lead to Forelands Beach AONB and Culver Down NT where many birds and other wildlife can be seen, including the famous red squirrel. The village of Bembridge on the eastern most point of the island has a friendly quaint charm, local shops, pubs, restaurants, Bembridge Ledge Lifeboat Station and Bembridge Harbour with sailing, fishing and fresh catch of the day where crab and lobster can be enjoyed. Bembridge Windmill NT is a popular tourist attraction and is worthy of a visit.
