There is a marina and a pier – which is the terminus for the high speed passenger ferry from Portsmouth. The long stretch of beach is flanked by many cafes, a play area, ten pin bowling, an ice rink and golf. Further afield there are a host of attractions, including Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle, as well as wildlife and country parks – enough to keep the whole family entertained. Havenstreet Steam Railway tourist attraction travels past the property during the summer months - a magical trip for all age groups. There is a train stop nearby and it is worth a ride to experience a nostalgic tour.
