Accommodation overview: A delightfully converted barn in one of the most beautiful and picturesque parts of Somerset. Described as a "Famous Five" holiday location, children will be in their element with so much to see and do. The area is popular with walkers and lovers of nature, with Exmoor National Park and the Brendon Hills being right on your doorstep, thereby making the accommodation popular with couples just wanting to get away from it all, especially out of season. Situated across lawns and an orchard from the owners 17th century farmhouse, if you require more than the peace and tranquillity at the property, then you are only a short drive to a variety of sandy beaches and attractions within the county, such as Wimbleball Reservoir with its water sports, Somerwest World at Minehead, The West Somerset Steam Railway, Bream Leisure Park, Taunton with its high street shops, and Exmoor with its wildlife, walks, beauty and unspoilt charm. There are some excellent local family pubs serving good bar meals. Leisure facilities: trout fishing available at a charge in one of two nearby fishing lake. Guests will be welcome to share the 6 acres of land which is home to chickens, ducks, geese and occasionally cows and sheep. The sympathetically converted accommodation with exposed beams throughout gives a traditional feel and offers TWO bedrooms: 1 galleried double and 1 twin downstairs. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Quantocks yet only a few miles from the sandy beach at Blue Anchor this is an ideal base from which to explore the delights of Exmoor National Park.
