Built in 1560s, it forms one of a trio of listed homes on the corner of Church Road, a quiet lane. The house is set in its own garden in the middle of the coastal village of Bacton just 550 yards from the beach. The house is full of character with its large inglenook fireplace (non operational), huge beams, exposed brickwork and Aga. Bacton is an ideal location for walking and cycling with miles of quiet lanes in this peaceful area of Norfolk close to the Norfolk Broads, nature reserves, golf courses, steam trains and the historical city of Norwich with its cathedral, theatres, cobbled streets and shops.
