The North York Moors steam train can be boarded to discover some of Yorkshire’s finest scenery as it chugs its way through the beautiful Esk valley into the famous village of Goathland - renowned for its connections with TV’s Heartbeat. A little further south of the village is the elegant seaside town of Scarborough. Golfing, fishing, sea trips, cycle and walking tracks are all available locally.
