Accommodation overview: Beautifully situated in an elevated position, on the edge of this picturesque village, this split-level bungalow sits under the magnificent Red Cuillin Mountains and enjoys panoramic views over Broadford Bay to the rugged Applecross Peninsula. The views are enhanced by picture windows in the spacious living area, where an open beamed ceiling adds to the bright airy atmosphere. The bungalow is modern and well-appointed and there is an enclosed garden with patio area and garden furniture to fully appreciate the stunning surroundings. It backs onto unspoiled open moorlands yet, it is within walking distance of local facilities including shops, supermarket, pubs, restaurants and hotels.
Historic Broadford lies on the main road, 7 miles from the stunning bridge and boasts excellent visitor attractions and a harbour. This is the ideal base for exploring the island with Portree, Sleat Peninsula and the rugged north coast all within easy reach. The Cuillin Mountains are renowned for climbing, mountain biking and hill-walking while other activities include coastal walks, sea and river angling, ornithology, riding, boat trips and golf.
