Accommodation overview: CHARACTER COTTAGE IN THE PICTURESQUE VILLAGE OF FORT AUGUSTUS This listed end-terrace cottage is quietly situated off the main road and within walking distance of the local shops pubs and restaurants. This well-maintained cottage has been renovated to keep its traditional character with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Fort Augustus is located between Fort William and Inverness an excellent central base for exploring all the Highlands have to offer. The wide choice of recreational amenities for all the family will keep you entertained with pleasure trips on Loch Ness cycle hire golf sailing fishing mountain biking and forest trails are nearby with the Great Glen Cycle route running through the village. For keen walkers there are at least 50 Munros within an hour s drive. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: Upstairs 1 double and 1 twin (additional z-bed for small child available upon request). Upstairs bathroom with WC and bath. Downstairs shower room. Lounge/diner: with small TV with Freeview Wi-fi and multi-fuel stove (initial supply of solid fuel October - March. Solid fuel can be purchased locally). Sitting room: with Freesat TV/DVD. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob fridge and microwave. Utility: with washer/dryer. Outside: delightful garden to front with chairs. Small BBQ upon request. Amenities: bed linen towels electric with night storage/convector heaters included and Wi-fi.
