Behind the house quiet lanes wind through the Solway Plain and offer excellent cycle routes. Just 2½ miles down the road is a modern leisure centre, with indoor swimming-pool, spa, sauna, gym, tennis, shop and café. Five 18-hole golf courses are nearby – Silloth’s is in the ‘Top 50’ and is a championship qualifying course.
