Accommodation overview: With far reaching sea views across Lamorna Cove to the Lizard and with the South West Coast Path on your doorstep, this light and airy self contained apartment with double glazed picture windows is on the first floor above a seasonal beach café. 

Set at the bottom of a long tree shaded lane which leads to the small picturesque granite harbour, an external spiral staircase leads up to a south facing sun terrace, perfect for enjoying an alfresco meal, with unsurpassed views of the sea and cove through a glass balustrade. 

From here, patio doors and one step lead directly into an open plan, split level living room with a dining suite and comfortable lounge seating, all of which have panoramic views of the sea, cliffs and coastline from three large windows. 

One step then continues up to a neatly fitted galley kitchen with a ceramic four ring hob and combination microwave.  Beyond is a lovely bedroom with a kingsize double where it is possible to enjoy the fine sea views without getting out of bed, and a fully tiled en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin completes the accommodation. 

A parking permit for one car is provided for the harbour car park adjacent to the property.  There is a gift shop/beach café open until 8.30pm in season beneath the apartment, boat hire and a small sandy beach revealed at low tide where dinghies can be launched and trailer parking is available on request.

The Wink, the local pub, is about a 10 minute walk up the valley as is The Cove Cornwall which is open to non-residents. St Buryan, 3 miles, has a church, village store/P.O., pub and garage, and for a wider selection of amenities, the seaside town of Penzance is about a 15 minute drive with a ferry service to the Isles of Scilly

There are stunning cliff walks along this dramatic coastline both east and west with wonderful views of the sea, flowers and birdlife, directly from your doorstep.  It is also an excellent base for exploring the far west of Cornwall by car and an easy drive to Mousehole, Newlyn, the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno and only a little further to Sennen Cove and St Ives.

Accommodation overview: Just a ten minute drive from the picturesque coastal villages of Lamorna, Mousehole and Newlyn, this beautifully presented, single storey granite barn conversion is set in the peaceful tiny hamlet of Kemyel Wartha with views over farmland to the sea in the distance. 

Furnished to a high standard, this semi-detached double glazed former stable is set to one side of the owners 19th century barn in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers comfortable accommodation for couples or small families wishing to explore West Cornwall. 

Approached by a long unmade track and gated gravel driveway where there is ample parking space, a side gate and path lead round to the rear of the property where there is a private and enclosed patio garden with a wooden sun deck and sheltered barbecue area.  The back door opens directly into a small lobby and to one side is a well equipped country kitchen with pine fitted units, a quarry tiled floor and tranquil views of the terrace. 

An open doorway leads through to a delightful warm and cosy sitting/dining room in a restful decor with a beamed ceiling open to the apex of the roof, deep piled rugs on the pine floor and comfortable leather seating facing the multi fuel stove.  An inner hallway gives access to two bedrooms both with exposed cross beams and views across the countryside towards the sea. 

There is an attractive double bedroom, and at the end of the hall, one step continues up to the modest sized second bedroom with two 3ft single beds.  To complete the accommodation, one step leads up to a bathroom W.C. with hand basin, heated towel rail and shower over the bath.  Visitors are welcome to enjoy the adjacent grassy paddock with children’s play area and home to the owner’s ponies, rabbits and free range chickens. 

Pets are welcome but dogs will need to be kept under control as the surrounding fields are part of the St Aubyn Estate and may contain livestock.  There is an abundance of beautiful coastal paths and inland walks with breathtaking scenery close by and Lamorna Cove, which has a seasonal café, The Wink pub and a small sandy beach at low tide is just under 2 miles by road or a 15 minute walk by footpath. 

The historic fishing village of Mousehole can be reached in 10 minutes by car or a pleasant 30 minute walk across the fields and Penzance is a 15 minute drive with a wide selection of amenities including ferry services to The Isles of Scilly.  It is also an excellent base for exploring West Penwith with St Michael's Mount at Marazion, Porthcurno home to the Minack Theatre and the surfing beach at Sennen Cove all less than 10 miles respectively.

Accommodation overview: Just a ten minute walk down the hill to the tiny granite harbour at Lamorna Cove, this detached, sympathetically converted artist’s studio stands to one side of the country lane in the picturesque wooded Lamorna Valley

Recently renovated with double glazing and centrally heated to provide warm and cosy accommodation all year round, it is a haven for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts only half a mile from the beautiful cliff path and rugged coastline. 

A short sloping path and one step leads up to the stable front door which opens directly into a delightful, split level living room with a hip shaped ceiling and soft décor.  There is a fully fitted smart kitchen with a quarry tiled floor and small dining suite, and two steps lead up to the comfortable sitting area with a rug on the laminate wood floor and a leather settee facing the electric coal effect stove

In one corner of the lounge, a door opens to the double bedroom with a fully tiled en-suite wet room W.C. with hand basin and walk-in shower area.  There is space for one car on the gravelled parking area adjacent to the property and also a small decked terrace with picnic table overlooking the lush valley with the sounds of a running stream.  Pets will require supervision outside. 

Formerly the studio of Denys Law, he was a painter, woodcarver and copper worker recognised by the Lamorna Society.  The Wink pub and The Cove Cornwall for restaurant dining open to non-residents are both just a couple of minutes walk away, and a leisurely 10 minute stroll down the hill leads to the cove where there is a small sandy beach at low tide adjacent to the harbour and a seasonal gift shop/beach café open until 8.30pm in season.
