The small hamlet of Portmellon is just a short stroll along the cliff path from Mevagissey, and is a secluded hideaway with stunning views across the bay and along the coast. A short walk along a track from the house leads to Chapel Point, a small headland with a quiet secluded beach, a ‘local secret’. The Cornish Coastal Path passes close to the house and leads to the villages of Gorran Haven to the west and Mevagissey to the east. The beaches of Portmellon and Gorran Haven have free boat launching and Bosprennis has ample space to store your boat. The area lends itself to exploring Cornwall as Portmellon is situated close to the Roseland Peninsula and the Lost Gardens of Heligan with its local farm shop, just a few miles away, as is the world famous Eden Project.
