Accommodation overview: PRETTY AND PEACEFUL COTTAGE NESTLING IN A SMALL HAMLET CLOSE TO BUDE This hidden gem is situated in an idyllic spot, and an ideal base from which to explore all of the North Cornwall coast. The historic market town of Stratton offers local pubs, a Post Office, store and art gallery. The seaside town of Bude is only some 2 miles away and has lots to offer with its many popular surfing beaches, sea pool, boating canal, leisure centre, golf course and a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. Out and about there are many local attractions from adventure parks to National Trust properties. Walkers will also enjoy the dramatic views from the South West Coastal Path. The cottage has been completely redecorated in a contemporary, yet country cottage feel. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: both accessed via wrought iron, open tread staircase. 1 large double and 1 twin room both having exposed beams and character features. A large galleried landing with sofa and book shelves between the bedrooms makes it ideal for both families and couples wishing to holiday together. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: downstairs the living space is stylish and well furnished with wood burner (initial supply of logs provided) and TV/DVD. Staircase leads up from the sitting room with views across the pretty courtyard garden. Kitchen/diner: with a step down to the well fitted and equipped room with electric oven, hob, hood, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, TV and many useful extras. Outside: patio area with garden furniture, steps lead up to a larger second sitting area with garden table and chairs and BBQ. Established cottage garden and raised beds make this a tranquil spot to sit and relax. Shed offers space for bikes or surfboards. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels (please bring your own beach towels), electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking within the property. 1 dog welcome but regret no puppies.
