The front door opens on to the charming Market Street closed to traffic and punctuated with interesting shops from chandlers to art galleries. The cottage allows you to open the doors and gates and be part of the local community or sit in the garden or gaze from the windows in complete privacy. Holidaying in Appledore allows you to relinquish reliance on the car with a regular bus service leading along the coast and to North Devon s hub towns. The traditional Victorian seaside village of Westward Ho! is easily reached and enjoys England s oldest golf course Royal North Devon that cris-crosses the Northam Burrows Country Park and is protected by the naturally occurring Pebble Ridge that runs the length of this two mile golden sandy beach.
