The property is within 2.5 mile from the village of Hartland, originally a Georgian market town where you will find Hartland Point and Quay and a selection of shops, post office, craft shops and pubs. The character farmhouse was built in 1627 and is listed in the Doomsday Book, the original plaque can still be seen in the hall. Guests are encouraged to explore the farm and enjoy the wonderful walks particularly in the cliff meadows just 2 minutes from the house which are SSSI graded (Site of Special Scientific Interest) great for bird watching and wildlife enthusiasts. Easily accessible from the house is the coastal path winding along high cliffs to coves, unspoilt rocky coves and sandy beaches.
