Accommodation overview: Peacefully set in acres of woodland and landscaped grounds...a haven for wildlife

Peacefully set in rural seclusion and converted to a very good standard, these six holiday cottages are set in 100 acres of wooded and landscaped grounds. Now no longer a working farm, the location is a haven for wildlife, where visitors are free to roam the grounds. A well-stocked lake provides free fishing for guests.
The cottages enjoy a wonderfully peaceful location from which to enjoy the area’s great natural beauty and are situated close to many amenities and great days out. They are modern and spacious with comfortably furnished living rooms - several enjoying views across the lake - and have an excellent standard of fixtures and fittings throughout, including superbly fitted kitchens. A central courtyard area creates a focal point and each cottage has its own patio as well as use of the 100 acres of woodland and fields.
Crealy Adventure Park is a great day out for the children, offering something for all ages. The Jurassic Coast is 7 miles; the coastal path provides walkers with stunning views. From the coastal path it is possible to experience the drama of sheer cliff faces and numerous walks with stunning views, taking in Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Seaton and Lyme Regis. Paignton, part of the stunning Riviera, is situated on the South Devon coastline in sheltered Torbay. It is very popular with families and couples looking for a quiet break and the Paignton, Torquay and Brixham beaches are without doubt the best in the bay - they are gently sloping, very sandy, protected from prevailing winds, with a choice restaurants, bars, ice cream kiosks, beach shops and marine activities. Set in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside, the coast at Sidmouth and Exmouth, and Exeter are 8 miles.
Exeter Cathedral was completed around 1400 and has several notable features including an early set of misericords, an astronomical clock and the longest uninterrupted vaulted ceiling in England. Powderham Castle makes for a great family day out; the children will love all the secret passages! Skirmish Paintball Games is located in Stoke Woods, an 80-acre site, 5 minutes’ drive from the centre of Exeter, and boasts eighteen separate and unique gaming areas including bridge siege, trench games and jungle swamp games. Underground passages are great on a rainy day with lots of history and crawling through tunnels. Westpoint (5 miles) hosts the annual Devon County Show, an annual Holiday on Ice Show, Antiques and Trade Fairs and occasional large concerts. There are numerous quality golf courses nearby including Northbrook Golf Club which caters for everyone’s needs from beginners and children to experienced golfers. Have a fun day out for the children at Quad World. Horse riding can be enjoyed at Oaklands Riding School stables which are set in the beautiful countryside on the edge of Exeter. Or for the more daring, take a flying lesson at Aviation South West Club House (4 miles). First flying lessons are available over the beautiful southwest area with breathtaking views from the air.
The cottages are ideally situated between Exmoor and Dartmoor and both are worth a visit as their differences are quite dramatic. Exmoor has its deer and Dartmoor has its ponies, but both have great places to stop for cream teas. Great Houndbeare Farm is a wonderful location for a family holiday or great place for a family get together or friends to celebrate. Shop 2 miles, pubs 2 miles.
